Triple Crown win for Deep Impact
Kyoto Racecourse at a record-breaking crowd Sunday afternoon heard at the roar of cheering for the latest edition of the Triple Crown winner as DEEP IMPACT stormed home for the winning post in the Kikuka Sho(Japanese St.Leger). He won the last classic of the year by a 2-length from ADMIRE JAPAN with ROSENKREUZ another 4 length away third. SIX SENSE got fourth followed by FUSAICHI AUSTER finishing fifth to complete the money earners. Yutaka Take was aboard the winner, covering the 3,000-meter distance in 3 minutes 4.6 seconds on turf.
