She is Tosho gains second CBC victory
Despite a 57-kgs impost in the male grade company, She is Tosho made a smashing late run to win the CBC Sho, a grade three handicap, at Chukyo Racecourse. She won it by a length from Wild Shout(USA), with Limitless Bid another neck further away third in the field of 17. Kenichi Ikezoe rode the winner after completing the 1,200-meter trip in 1 minute 9 seconds.
This was the second CBC Sho victory for She is Tosho, who has now won six in 32 starts under the saddle of Akio Tsurudome. Her career earnings increased to nearly 411 million yen. Bred and owned by Tosho Bokujo in Shinhidaka, Hokkaido, she is a 6-year-old mare by Sakura Bakushin O out of the Tosho Fleet mare Jane Tosho.
