2007 NHK Mile Cup
Sunday will see the NHK Mile Cup for which a total of 36 three-year-olds have been nominated.
Brief history The NHK Mile Cup was introduced in 1996 as a jpn-g1 race and has since then come at the top of mile events for 3-year-olds. The first six runs have been won by foreign-breds. For this reason, the Cup was once known as the foreign-bred Derby. It has produced prominent runners such as Seeking the Pearl, El Condor Pasa, Kurofune, Tanino Gimlet and King Kamehameha.
