Vodka, ridden by Yasunari Iwata, came from a good position to win the 2008 Yasuda Kinen by a 3 1/2-length margin in 1 minute 32.70 seconds Sunday afternoon at Tokyo Racecourse. It was Vodka's first victory since winning the Japanese Derby last year. Armada(NZ), one of the three HK hopes, finished a 3/4-length before Eishin Dover(USA) in third place.
