Hiruno d'Amour triumphs Tenno Sho Spring
Hiruno d'Amour triumphed the Tenno Sho Spring at Kyoto on Sunday afternoon. Shinji Fujita guided the 4-year-old colt to the winning post in 3 minutes 20.60 seconds over 3,200-meters on good turf.
Before the 1/2-length victory, Hiruno d'Amour had to deny challenging Eishin Flash in the deep stretch.
Namura Crescent finished a 1 1/2-length behind Eishin Flash in third with another 1 1/4-length back Makani Bisty fourth.
Race favorite To the Glory finished a disappointing 13th.
