Field of 2011 Tenno Sho Autumn


A total of 18 horses will go to post for the 2011 Tenno Sho Autumn at 3:40 p.m. JST on Sunday, October 30 at Tokyo Racecourse.

The main contenders are likely to be:

Buena Vista, multiple g1 winner who had a couple of g1 second finishes earlier this season, aims at her second Tenno Sho Autumn title in two consecutive years;
Eishin Flash has not won since last year's Japanese Derby, but has consistently run this season on the highest level;
Rose Kigdom, a multiple g1 winner, comes into this classic g1 event off impressive victory in the Kyoto Daishoten;
Earnestly has enjoyed a fantastic 2011 campaign with the Takarazuka Kinen victory and won the All Comers on his latest running.
