2011 Mile Championship Field

Real Impact is a talented 3-year-old colt who won the grade one Yasuda Kinen by beating the older g1 company earlier this season. He breaks from post 8.
Eishin Apollon(USA) may have good momentum off victory in the grade three Fuji Stakes. This colt will break from post 5.

The European entries are Immortal Verse(IRE) and Sahpresa(USA).
Immortal Verse, European g1 winner, is capable of getting up to the line first if she handles the firm Kyoto ground.
Multiple g1 winner Sahpresa will have his third Mile Championship run(fourth in 2010 and third in 2009) having come off victory in the Sun Chariot Stakes.

I love your blog! I'm trying to learn about the history and philosophy of Thoroughbred breeding in Japan. Can you point me in the proper direction? I'd like to do an article on this topic and would like to learn all I can from the proper authorities in this matter. I write for our blog on thoroughbreds in Puerto Rico. Here's the link http://puertoricohipismo.blogspot.com/
Thanks in advance.
