Sadamu Patek takes Mile Champ
It was a sensational victory for Sadamu Patek in the Mile Championship this afternoon at the good Kyoto racecourse.
Yutaka Take took Sadamu Patek into the lead in the mid-stretch. "I aimed at the inside as I planned.", Take said. He just rushed home for a neck victory.
In the late stage, Grand Prix Boss and Donau Blue moved up on the outside for a serious fight, but it was too late to catch the winner. Grand Prix Boss came second with Donau Blue finishing a 1/2-length behind of him in third. Silport, who led the field of 18 from the start, hung on tough to get fourth place.
Sadamu Patek, trained by M.Nishizono at Ritto and owned by S. Onishi, has now won 5 of his 16 races. His career earnings brought to 353+ million jpn yen.
Shadai Corporation was the breeder of Sadamu Patek, a 4-year-old bay colt by Fuji Kiseki out of the Helissio mare Summer Night City.
