2013 February Stakes

A total of 16 horses have been entered for the February Stakes, the first grade one event of the year in JRA calendar.

The main contenders could be:
Ijigen(USA) has consistently run on dirt until he was well-beaten in the grade one Japan Cup Dirt last time outing. He attempts again to show his best performance on the highest level.
Wonder Acute has finished on the board on his last 4 starts. He had second place in the Kawasaki Kinen last time outing. His best race came at victory in the NAR grade one JBC Classic on last November.
Curren Black Hill, winner of the grade one NHK Mile Cup, will race on dirt for the first time. He remained undefeated before finishing fifth in the Tenno Sho Autumn on his last outing. It is very interesting how he runs on dirt surace.
