Take perfect ride in Teio Sho

Yutaka Take had a perfect ride to guide Wonder Acute to an easy victory in the NAR grade one Teio Sho at Ohi Wednesday night.

Take sailed Wonder Acute into a third position and drew upon on the leaders on the final turn. Before a half way of the stretch, the most famous jockey in the country drove the horse into the front and won by a decisive 2-length.

Race favorite Copano Rickey took up the running on the backstrech and kept running well under pressure by Nihonpiro Ours, but could not stay on the last 200-meters.

Solitary King finished a 2-length behind the runner-up in third with Nihonpiro Ours fourth and Civil War fifth.

The winner completed the 2,000-meter trip in 2 minutes 3.50 seconds on sloppy track.

Trained at JRA Ritto by M. Sato, Wonder Acute is a 8-year-old horse by Charismatic out of the Pleasant Tap mare Wonder Heritage.
