NAR horse makes 400th career start

NAR Kochi-trained Senor Best made his 400th start when he finished sixth at Kochi last Sunday. No other thoroughbred has ever achieved this milestone in Japanese racing history.
The 15-year-old horse debuted at NAR Urawa in 2001 and then he was transffered to NAR Funabashi, NAR Nagoya and NAR Kochi, at where he has trained since 2003. His career record is now 32 wins, 35 seconds and 31 thirds in 400 career starts. Senor Best is a son of Rodrigo de Triano and  the Try My Best mare Mugen Power.
