Japan Horse Racing News on Sept. 03, 2014

Musee Sultan had a bone chip on his left front leg and will be sidelined for the rest of the
year. The King Kamehameha colt was found to be suffering that injury after winning the Niigata
Nisai Stakes last Sunday. If all goes well, he will reappear on the course next March.

Serbian-born jockey Djordje Perovic has been granted a short-term license to ride at JRA
races. The Italian-based jockey's license will be effective from Sept. 6 thru Oct.26.

Lucky Nine(IRE) has been confirmed a contender in the Sprinters Stakes to be run at Niigata
Racecourse on October 5.
