Sound True rallies in Tokyo Daishoten

Sound True came from behind to win the 61st Tokyo Daishoten under Takuya Ono this afternoon  at Ohi Track. Sound True, trained at JRA Miho by N. Takagi, flew past Hokko Tarumae in the blink of an eye to reach the winning post in 2 minutes 3.00 seconds over the 2,000-meter Ohi dirt track. A 1 3/4-length behind, Hokko Tarumae finished second with another 6-length back Wonder Acute third.
Sound True is a 5-year-old chestnut gelding by French Deputy out of the Fuji Kiseki mare Kyoei Truth.
