Diamond shines in Kisaragi Sho

Satono Diamond made a big appeal toward the up-coming 3yo classic races as he romped the grade three Kisaragi Sho under Christophe Lemaire at Kyoto Sunday.
The heavy favorite pulled away from the rest at around 200 meters out to win by a decisive 3-length from Les Planches, who came far off the pace.
Another head behind, Leukerbad came third. The final time for the 1,800-meter trip was 1 minute 46.90 seconds.
