Sinhalite remains undefeated in Tulip Sho


Sinhalite remained undefeated in three starts as she won the Tulip Sho in a ding-dong battle at Hanshin on Saturday. Race favorite Jeweler fought it out to finish a nose-second. Lavender Valley got third place, a 1 1/2-length behind the runner-up.
Kenichi Ikezoe rode the winner to stop the clock in 1 minute 32.80 seconds for the final time over 1,600 meters on firm ground.
Sinhalite is a 3-year-old dark bay filly by Deep Impact out of Singhalese, by Singspiel.

A strong closing kick gives A Shin Bullseye(USA) Ocean Stakes victory. In the hands of Syu Ishibashi, the 5-year-old chestnut horse ran the 1,200-meter distance in 1 minute 7.50 seconds on firm ground.
Hakusan Moon, who led the field from start, finished second, a 1 1/2-length behind, with another 1 1/4-length back Snow Dragon third.
A Shin Bullseye, bred in USA by Elijah Bailey, is a son of Belgravia out of Miss Fear Factor, by Siphon.
