Race favorite leads all the way in 2016 Japan Cup

Race favorte Kitasan Black led all the way to win the Japan Cup at Tokyo Sunday afternoon. The 2016 edition of the most famous Japanese race needs no description as Kitasan Black led from start to finish. 
Yutaka Take-piloted Kitasa Black gained a 2 1/2-length victory from Sounds of Earth. Another neck behind, Cheval Grand was third with Gold Actor fourth and Real Steel fifth.

Owened by Ono Shoji and trained by H.Shimizu, Kitasan Black has now won eight of his 13 races with more than 946 million jpn yen in career earnings.
Yanagawa Farm was the breed of Kitasan Black, a 4-year-old bay colt by Black Tide out of Sugar Heart, by Sakura Bakushin O.
