Stage set for 2016 Japan Cup


A stage is set to run in the Japan Cup, scheduled for Sunday, November 27 at Tokyo.
A total of 17 horses including three foreign invaders have been entered for the most famous Japanese race in the world.

Kitasan Black, strong front-running indivisual who has not finished worse than third this season with Tenno Sho Spring victory. After skipping the Tenno Sho Aurumn, he is more than ready to run in this premier event. 
Real Steel, winner of the Dubai Turf earlier this season, finished a respectable second in the Tenno Sho Autumn last outing. The extended distance will be within his compass.
2015 Arima Kinen winner Gold Actor, having come off victory in the Sankei Sho All Comer, returns to Tokyo course where he has shown good performance.
Satuki Sho(Japanese 2000 Guineas) winner Dee Majesty, one of the best 3-year-old colts, faces the older top company for the first time. 
Having won the grade two Copa Republica Argentina three weeks ago, Cheval Grand attempts to reproduce a big run this Sunday.
