White Fugue wins JBC Ladies' Classic for 2 consecutive years


Having run behind the leading pack early on, White Fugue took a lead entering the stretch to win the NAR grade one JBC Ladies' Classic at Kawasaki track on Thursday afternoon.
A 1 1/2-length behind, Let's Go Donki came second with Tosen C'est la Vie another 4-length back third. Masayoshi Ebina steered the winner to cover the 1,600-meter dirt trip in 1 minute 41.30 seconds.
Trained at JRA Miho by N.Takagi and owned by T.Nishimori, White Fugue has now won eight of her 16 races. Umeda Farm was the breeder of White Fugue, a 4-year-old grey filly by Kurofune out of Marine Winner, by Fuji Kiseki.
