2016 Hopeful Stakes


The Hopeful Stakes for 2-year-olds wil be run right before the Arima Kinen at Nakayama on Sunday.

The two-time winner Rey de Oro, who comes into this event off the victory in the Habotan Sho early this month, drew post 2. Glove Theatre, impressive winner in his debut race last month, drew post 6. Sungrazer, third in the grade two Daily Hai Nisai Stakes, drew post 5. Cosmos, trained at NAR Kawasaki, who is undefeated in two starts at dirt surface, drew post 14.
