Favorite wins Hanshin Juvenile Fillies

Race favorite Soul Stirring took a good position to win the Hanshin Juvenile Fillies at Hanshin on Sunday. Christophe Lemaire forced her to go into front on the inside with 200 meters to go, winning the 1,600-meter race in 1 minute 32 seconds flat. Lys Gracieux came second, a 1 1/4-length behind. Another 1 3/4-length back, Reine Minoru was third.

Trained by K. Fujisawa and owned by Shadai Race Horse Co. Ltd., Soul Stirring remains undefeated in three starts with more than 89 million jpn yen in career earnings.

Soul Stirring is a 2-year-old brown filly by Frankel out of Stacelita, by Monsun.
