Gold Dream triumphs February S

Having unplaced in the Champions Cup last outing, Gold Dream redeemed his reputation as he won the February Stakes at Tokyo Racecourse on Sunday.
Outside 100 meters from home, Gold Dream and Best Warrior(USA) pulled away from the rest and they fought it out until Gold Dream put his neck in front at the post. Kafuji Take, making lots of grounds in the stretch, finished third, a 3/4-length away from Best Warrior. Gold Dream, ridden by Mirco Demuro, completed the 1,600-meter race in 1 minute 35.10 seconds on fast track.

Gold Dream has now won five of his nine races under the condition of O. Hirata and the color of K. Yoshida. His career earnings improved to more than 199 million jpn yen.
Gold Dream is a 4-year-old by colt by Gold Allure(recently passed away) out of Mon Vert, by French Deputy.
