Field set for 2017 Takamatsunomiya Kinen


A field of 18 horses has been drawn for the grade one Takamatsunomiya Kinen for 4-year-olds and upwards at Chukyo Racecourse on Sunday.


The g1 Sprinters Stakes winner Red Falx, well beaten in the Hong Kong Sprint last out, drew post 7. Melagrana(AUS), an impressive winner of the g3 Ocean Stakes, drew post 12. The g3 Kyoto Himba Stakes winner Let's Go Donki drew post 3. Shuji, who had an undesired finish in the g3 Hankyu Hai last month, drew post 9. Solveig, sixth in the g3 Sil Road Stakes, drew post 13.
