Mozu Katchan wins Flora S in final stride

12th favorite Mozu Katchan got up in time to win the grade two Sankei Sports Sho Flora Stakes at Tokyo Racecourse on Sunday. Ryuji Wada forced Mozu Katchan ahead of Yamakatsu Grace in the final stride. A neck separated by the two. Another head further away came Flawless Magic third.
The race was run in the final time of 2 minutes 1.30 seconds over 2,000 meters on firm ground.
Mozu Katchan, who has now recorded a three-straight-win, is a 3-year-old dark bay filly by Harbinger out of Site Dealer, by King Kamehameha.
