Admire Lead brilliant late run in Victoria Mile

Admire Lead, perfectly ridden by Christophe Lemaire, broke out from the crowd to win the Victoria Mile at Tokyo Sunday afternoon.
Lemaire forced his filly to squeeze between horses on the middle of the course before getting up to the winning post.
A 1 1/4-length behind was Denko Ange, who got past Jour Poaire for second place. The race was run in 1 minute 33.90 seconds over 1,600 meters on good ground.
Admire Lead has now won five of her 14 races with more than 191 million jpn yen under the color of R.Kondo and the saddle of N.Sugai.
Northern Farm was the breeder of Admire Lead, a 4-year-old brown filly by Stay Gold out of Belle Allure, by Numerous.
