Field drawn for 2017 Japanese Oaks


A field of 18 fillies has been drawn for the Japanese Oaks(known as the Yushun Himba) at Tokyo Racecourse.
Lys Gracieux came near to win a filly classic when finishing a narrow second in the Oka Sho(Japanese 1000 Guineas). She breaks from post 14.
Soul Stirring came at her first loss when finishing third in the Oka Sho. She drew post 2.
Admire Miyabi, well-beaten in the Oka Sho, has shown good run of form at Tokyo as she won the g3 Queen Cup. She drew post 16.
Reine Minoru, who beat Lys Gracieux and Soul Stirring to win the Oka Sho on soft ground, breaks from post 13.
G2 Floral Stakes winner Mozu Katchan drew post 1. Flawless Magic, third in the Flora S, drew post 3 and Sweepea Stakes winner Black's Beach breaks from post 10.
