2018 Kyoto Kinen


Rey de Oro winner of the Japanese Derby last season, could stand out in a field of 10 for Sunday's Kyoto Kinen. Coming into this grade two race, he finished a respectable second in the Japan Cup behind Cheval Grand. 
The main opponents to Rey de Oro could be Mozu Katchan, winner of last year's Queen Elizabeth II Cup, and the 2017 Satsuki Sho(Japanese 2000 Guineas) winner Al Ain.
