Danon Chaser romps home in Kisaragi Sho


Danon Chaser took a sole second far behind the pace early on and took command in the stretch in winning the grade three Kisaragi Sho at Kyoto on Sunday. A 2-length behind, Tagano Diamante came second with another 1/2-length back Lance of Puraana third. Yuga Kawada rode the winner to complete the 1,800-meter trip in 1 minute 49 seconds flat.
Danon Chaser, who has now won three of his five races, is a 3-year-old bay colt by Deep Impact out of Samitar, by Rock of Gibraltar.
